AKRON ART MUSEUM
The Akron Art Museum is the leading museum of modern art in Northeast
Ohio, with over 3,300 works produced from 1850 to the present in the
permanent collection. The Akron Art Museum is currently closed for
expansion. Check their website for information about programs and events
being hosted throughout Northeast Ohio while construction takes place.
The new Akron Art Museum is expected to open in late 2006 or early 2007.

BRECKSVILLE CENTER FOR THE ARTS (BCA)
Brecksville Center for the Arts offers classes in the fine, applied and
performing arts for pre-schoolers, children, teens and adults. In
addition the Center organizes arts travel and special events, several
exhibition openings a year and their "Shoppe for Art" features the work
of local artists for sale. One of the Center's biggest annual events,
which takes place in November is "Heartfelt Holiday," a festival of art,
music, food and the work of more than 80 artists.

CANTON ARTISTS FOR CREATIVE AWARENESS (CAFCA)
The Canton Artists for Creative Awareness is a new gallery in downtown
Canton. The gallery highlights local artists, with one show per month
featuring national/international artists. Earlier this year, CAFCA
featured 15 local artists and Qassim Ali, an exiled Iraqi bedouin/landscape
artist and Douglas E. Winter, Virginia author and photographer. The
gallery's goal is to eventually offer free classes in music, art and
creative writing.

CLEVELAND PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY(CPS)
The Cleveland Photographic Society was formed in 1887 and has operated
continuously ever since. The club has 80 members and its own permanent
clubroom. The objectives of the society are to promote interest in all
aspects of photography, as an avocation and recreation and to further
cordial relations among its members. CPS conducts photo competitions,
workshops, fieldtrips, and social activites. Photography courses are
offered twice a year--Fundamentals of Good Photography and Digital
Imaging Workshop.

Wayne Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization offering a
full line of classes in visual arts, pottery, dance, theater and music
