Cabaret Dada Improvisational Theatre

The Cleveland Play House
The Cleveland Play House is America's first permanently established professional theatre. Among the largest complexes in the nation, its five performance venues attract over 140,000 patrons annually. convergence-continuun presents contemporary, experimental theatre in an up-close-and-personal setting (seating 40-50 per performance). What if, instead of going to the theatre to watch a play, you crossed the threshold into the world of the play to experience it? Theatre that expands the imagination and extends the conventional boundaries of language, structure, space and performance that challenges the conventional notions of what theatre is. Ensemble Theatre
Ensemble Theatre has been dedicated to bringing the classics as well as significant contemporary plays to local audiences for the last 25 years. Ensemble Theatre has won local awards for the plays performed, including the Northern Ohio Live Award for the 1992 production of "Trip to Bountiful," with local actors Dorothy and Reuben Silver, as well as one of 25 National PBS awards for Best Educational Programming for it's "Panorama of African American Theatre" series. In addition to it's five play season, Ensemble  also offers an array of touring productions for various high school and college audiences, as well as local clubs and community organizations and senior centers. Ensemble now performs in the Brooks Theatre at the Cleveland Play House and will soon hope to add an educational facet to it's programming, offering classes to local and surrounding communities.

Porthouse Theatre
Porthouse Theatre is the professional affiliate of Kent State University's School of Theatre & Dance. The season normally consists of two musicals and one non-musical. Stark County District Library Little Theatre Troupe
The Little Theatre Troupe was formed in 1995 and offers an opportunity for all children ages 4 - 14 years old to experience all aspects of theatre. The Troupe performs twice a year. March/April and December. Drama workshops are also held during the summer. Many productions are from popular children's books, while others are original plays written and directed by Carol Ann Carmack. Little Theatre is free and open to all children.
